That's just brilliant-Japan seems to be such a beautiful place. If I had the loot,I'd be on a plane tomorrow!

Thanks, I'm glad that you all enjoy them! I've added a photo at the end, thought it better to edit the original rather than post pictures randomly through the same thread.

i thought about getting one of the ones there, but i'd already got a ton of stuff and my bags were far too overfilled. Actually, I had the chance to go this weekend, but it was a bit short notice and my bank balance needs a bit of time to recover. I might go again in the autumn, as the summers are renowned for being too hot...

Exquisite pictures. That kamakura photo is postcard worthy, at least.

i´ve got a nikon coolpix s2....its a small average camera which i bought for under 100 gbp in hong kong. it´s only 5.1 megapixel with a digital zoom, but i find it handy as its slim and wherever i go, it comes with me. I might come across as a bit of a budding photographer, but to put things in perspective a little, i took over 450 photos during the week i was there.... so in my case i think the law of averages comes into play a little!

samwright8380, these are
absolutely incredible!
I love your subtle
Lost in Translation references, too ... like capturing the Starbucks where the filming crew shot Charlotte in the Shibuya crosswalk.
And, of course, the stuffed owls!

Absolutely adorable!
